Project Helping Hands is run by volunteers which results in almost 100% of your donations going directly to the medical teams and their service to the poor and needy.   Every team is composed of gracious people who pay their own way and give sacrificially to be a part of these medical teams.  However, there are some individuals who have a more direct involvement in the daily operations of PHH and you will see their names appear in various capacities if you become a part of one of the medical teams.  These include:


Jeff Solheim – Jeff is the founder and director of PHH and is responsible for the general oversight of all operations of PHH.  Jeff lives in Keizer, Oregon and has administrative oversight of each of the medical teams.   Jeff can be reached at

Kristen Funk-Tracy -Kristen is the Program Director for PHH and is responsible for fundraising, public relations, working with staff and volunteers to coordinate trips and teams, and developing program policies and procedures. Allen Solheim – Dr. Solheim is our treasurer.  Allen is responsible for all issues related to finances, including the receiving, depositing and receipting of all money given toward the medical missions.  Allen lives in Absarokee, MT and can be reached at allen@project-helping-hands.org.


Elizabeth Degerstedt – Elizabeth is our travel coordinator and is responsible for the booking of all tickets, working with passports and visas, team itineraries and any other items related to the travel portion of the medical teams.  Elizabeth lives in Salem, Oregon.
 

Chris Clutter and Jon Miller -  Chris and Jon are responsible for the creation and maintenance of the web page and all items related to the computer needs we have with PHH.   Chris and Jon live in southwestern MO. 
 

Patricia Clutter –Pat serves as the Director of Education for PHH and is responsible for developing and implementing education programs used in third world countries by PHH.  She lives in Strafford, MO.
 

Dr. Tan Pinney – Dr. Tan Pinney serves as our Medical Director and is responsible for the oversight of procedures related to the medical aspects of Project Helping Hands.  Tan lives in Vancouver, WA.  
 

Beth McMahon and Julie Dalechek – Beth and Julie share responsibility for clinical oversight of Project Helping Hands.  Beth lives in St. Louis MO and Julie lives in Fairview Heights IL. 
 

We are grateful for the many individuals who add to this list of significant volunteers who enable Project Helping Hands to function so successfully and achieve its mission in needy countries around the world.  These include the various team leaders and the many men and women who give so freely to help those who have so little.
